Can Jeremy confirm where the TriCaster name now lives?

TriCaster is the overall brand name for the product family including Mini, Prism, and Vision (on-prem or cloud). Vector was the previous cloud product name but is no longer used; Vision now covers both on-prem and cloud deployments with software parity.

28:50So we're doing a whole. And then LivePanel Pro, there's some other things in the AI space we're able to do with that new feature as well. so that's kind of incredible yeah yeah there's not much going on um we've got a couple of questions i think we can go to courtney um all righty then uh first question comes in from jeff keithley uh somewhere traveling the back roads of california uh and originally from texas can
29:16jeremy confirm where the tricaster name now lives yes where it lives okay you're gonna have to to explain yourself on that. It's confusing. Let's just say it. So VizRT Vector is basically TriCaster virtualized, but Vector is no longer a product name. Now we're Vision, from what I understand, right? It's basically the port over, and so the remarketing of that is now Vision,
29:50and that's Vision on-prem or Vision in cloud. out but it's tricaster mini tricaster prism tricaster so tricaster is still calling all the name even though we're not doing tricast anymore we're which is always something that kind of bugged me then we had four input everybody wanted i remember remember back when it started it was tricaster because it had three inputs and yeah then everybody else was like that's why only three
30:15inputs we need four and never never changed the name should have been forecaster for a long time Quadcaster. Yeah. And, yeah, we'll also talk about, you know, we also have the 3Play on the Vivid side. So there's a new 3Play product. Right. So it's 3Play Vivid. Yes. Okay. So TriCaster name is still the overall brand of the product family. And then, yes, the MiniLine, Prism, and Vision.
30:43And Vision is either on-prem or in cloud. Because that's been software parity for a while. Right. You know, where you've got, when it was Vision and Vector. You had software parity for the longest time where it was vision on-prem, vector in the cloud. Well, now we've made it easy. It's just it's vision. It's the same software, so why not make it the same naming convention from a marketing perspective?
31:03So, yeah, so it's TriCaster Vision and TriCaster Vision in the cloud. Clear as mud. No, that makes sense now. It actually is more clearer than it was. was. So with the cloud, so the operating system was always was always Windows and continues to be Windows is that is that correct? And, and that's correct. And it's Windows, Windows 11. When when you're as in when you're buying the
31:34hardware, that's right. Windows 11 is a pro is or is it a custom right it's windows 11 pro iot okay that's what we run under the hood okay and it's because of our licensing and and how we've had such a long-standing history with microsoft um getting the way back machine going back to the earlier models um ever since you know tim made the
31:55decision to just split off the it was light wave made light wave that was on the commodore amiga and then how that whole went down and then you had lightweight be able to run on windows and so then then that made the VT series. Now we were focusing, yeah, this is when I was still a user out of high school and college.
32:13And even early days, I've been working in Cincinnati, on the VT side of the world. So yeah, so that was on the Windows-based platform, just allowed for the modularity and the capability on that software stack to move forward as Windows moved forward, getting into where we're at now and just the flexibility of what we're able to do from the component level does make it nice.
32:35So yeah, so it's Windows 11 Pro IoT is what we run under the hood, but that's mainly just for boot up purposes. You're never actually in that Windows environment and you don't really need to because TriCaster just boots up because it's a video production appliance first and foremost, just happens to have computer parts and pieces underneath. Right. Yeah, so you shouldn't be installing other things.
32:55When I have those long knock-down, drag-out fights with IT departments. Yep. That's right. Yeah, very good. Next question. Next one comes in from St. Paul, Minnesota. Tommy Shantz says, could you give us the setup that we're running tonight to start this all off with? Thanks, Jeremy. Oh, yeah. We'd have to do a dive in with Tyler to talk about that. That's right.
