THE PANEL'S ANSWER
Guy

Samsung released a full camera with built-in 4G LTE, editing in After Effects, and video upload capability 13 years ago. Guy shot, edited, and uploaded an interview walkway-to-show while walking using it; Apple typically waits for tech maturation before adopting.

56:04Samsung did it years ago. Yeah. And so I actually took this to NAB one year and this is the result. You could actually edit on the thing. So I had this in After Effects done and it was ready to go. And I shot this interview with Dan Chung. So I edited this while I was walking. I trimmed the clip and then I shot it with that camera before the show opened.

56:31So this was like the first unveil. I had some heads up that this camera was going to get released. This was, let me see how long ago this was, 13 years ago. But basically, I interviewed Dan Chung. Let's see, he comes up here in just a second. So it just so happened that my friend Dan Chung, who's a magazine reviewer, he gave

56:53me like the first scoop of what was going on with that camera. And this video got like 9,000 views pretty quick because everybody wanted to see what was going on. So by nine o'clock, by the time the show opened, I already had a video edited and that camera has LTE on it, edited and uploaded while I was walking. So this little camera right

57:12here shot that, edited it and uploaded via its built in 4G LTE 13 years ago. So pretty crazy what the technology was even back then, but it was a full on like camera, like you were saying, Courtney, like, well, you know, if Samsung had it four years ago and about another two years, Apple will introduce it as their idea. So, hey. Well, to be fair to Apple, I don't think they've ever said that some of the stuff that they've done is their idea that they were the first.

57:44I mean, Apple has historically never been first. But what they do is they kind of just wait things out to make sure that the technology, like if they're going to do something, they're going to wait until they have something that they think is considerably a better user experience than what is already out there like they're not going to do something unless they
